Innovation Consultant for a Nordic facility management company
We are currently seeking an entrepreneurial and innovative doer, who will become the company’s new Innovation Consultant and will help the company test, develop and implement their new “workplace of the future” concept.
Today the company has a total portfolio of 100 facility management services and their primary strength is tailoring, developing, and leading support service functions in new, more effective ways. They constantly seek to reach their vision which is: ”How can we create better service experiences that lead to the happiest, healthiest, and most prosperous workplace environments in the Nordic region?”. The company is ready for a new step and has developed a novel concept - an award-winning project which is about to be launched through a number of pilots.
In this role, you will use a brave hands-on mindset to design validation sprints to efficiently collect quantitative and qualitative market information and test the product/market fit of the “workplace of the future” concept. By applying the three lenses of desirability, feasibility, and viability, you will together with the Customer Experience team at the company customize, design, and roll-out prototypes in order to deliver essential knowledge regarding the attractiveness of the value proposition for both partners and end-users.
In this role, you will be a key player in demonstrating if the product is wanted by customers, realistically doable, and eventually worth investing in. The company trusts your knowledge and experience in setting up structured hypotheses for approval/rejection through prototypes with real partners or end-users. You are also comfortable providing input on how the concept is best set up for commercial success and how it can be optimized from a cost perspective. As part of this role, you will also help finding the key partners that are relevant for driving the concept further through e.g., market awareness, recruitment ad activation to service providers, and analysis and evaluation of the usage.
To master this position, we are seeking an entrepreneurial spirit who easily acts independently. You are commercially driven and is passionate about seeing results in your job, where you seek innovative solutions and identify both pitfalls and possibilities. You are experienced in problem-solving, and have experience with design thinking and product/market fit, and can master the task of testing and validating prototypes and deliver essential feedback to the team. Considering the required fieldwork for testing the concept with partners and end-users, you are a social person who easily communicates and connects with other people and is receptive to valuable feedback. Finally, it is important that you hold good digital and technical understanding, e.g., by having previous experience as a Product Owner.
You will be located in either Norway, Sweden or Denmark and will thereby have the opportunity to travel and work cross-boarders. The position is 4-6 months with the possibility of extension. You are available at a minimum of 30 hours a week, but can preferably work full-time during this period, starting 1st of October.
