The team

Since its inception in 1998, the company has grown manyfold, having nearly 1,000 employees based in 25 countries. Today, their solutions are used in 500,000+ installations worldwide; with many more to come. You will take a role in a newly assembled Product Development team; more specific details of your mission will be revealed, when you have signed an NDA.

The position

In the role as a Senior Computer Vision Engineer, you will design the data pipelines and engineering infrastructure to support the clients’ enterprise Machine Learning Systems at scale. Furthermore, you will identify and evaluate new technologies to improve the performance, maintainability, and reliability of the clients’ Machine Learning Systems.

You will have a hands-on function across the full data pipeline and will develop NN’s for video. Additionally, you have an understanding of knowing what techniques and models will solve a given problem statement. The company is looking for a data scientist, who has experience with synthetic data generation. You drive best-practices for image and video storage, develop models that support data engineering and ML/DevOps pipeline automation, as well as support ethical use of models and data.

Your profile

To succeed in the role, you have experience with building end-to-end systems as a Platform Engineer, ML DevOps Engineer, or Data Engineer (or equivalent) working with video and/or images. Furthermore, you are familiar with one or more data-oriented workflow orchestration frameworks such as Kubeflow, Airflow, Argo, etc., and have strong software engineering skills in complex, multi-language systems.

Moreover, you have experience with the following:

• Platform operations
• Working with cloud computing and database systems
• Building custom integrations between cloud-based systems using APIs
• Developing and maintaining ML systems built with open-source tools
• Developing with containers and Kubernetes in cloud computing environments
• Facilitate the development and deployment of proof-of-concept Machine Learning Systems
• Support definition of platform architecture and tech stack
• Analyze and test technology components
• Research on new solutions and technologies
• Contribute to Product Development activities across full life cycle
• Fluency in Python and/or Go
• Comfort with Linux administration

It would be advantageous if you have experience with video services and use agile/lean/startup principles in way of working. You have great communication skills and it able to use it with clients to build requirements and track progress.
