Brand Manager to Findus Sverige

On behalf of Findus, we are currently seeking for a visionary Brand Manager, who embodies the spirit of entrepreneurship and independence, and possesses a keen commercial acumen, as well as analytical prowess. As Findus newly appointed Brand Manager, you will have the opportunity to thrive within a vibrant and rapidly expanding market landscape, taking full responsibility of the ownership and management of the Findus brand.

The position

In this position, you will wield responsibility over a specific category within the Findus portfolio, entrusted with driving both top and bottom-line growth. Operating within a global and local framework, you will collaborate with European marketing peers, fostering a spirit of positivity to propel growth throughout the Nordic market.

More specifically, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Taking brand and portfolio ownership of the assigned segments within the portfolio for Norway, Sweden, and Finland.
  • Crafting annual plans for designated segments of responsibility and contributing to the overarching business strategy.
  • Presenting plans for the approval by the Nordic Leadership Team.
  • Proactively overseeing the product portfolio lifecycle, from inception to market.
  • Spearheading key projects through the Gate stage process.
  • Continuously monitoring and adjusting KPI:s in internal forums.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of performance and shopper behavior based on multiple information sources (Nielsen, GFK, Dunnhumby etc.), and draw conclusions that generate actionable business insights.
  • Orchestrating brand communication campaigns in close collaboration with agencies, media partners, and central teams.
  • Developing and ensuring impactful packaging design, working closely with design and repro agencies.
  • Managing the A&P budget with a focus on optimization, meticulous tracking, and effective resource management.

Your profile

To excel in this role, we are looking for a collaborative team player who fosters innovation, whilst embracing a growth mindset, providing constructive feedback, and challenging peers when necessary. You possess extensive experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams, with a knack for interfacing with agencies. Your passion for transforming everyday meals into extraordinary dining experiences should be appreciable, coupled with a robust analytical and commercial mindset, underpinned by a data-driven approach.

Proficiency in understanding KPI:s and P&L structures, along with the ability to make informed decisions and take action based on throughout data analysis from a branding perspective, is essential. Your capacity to work autonomously and efficiently, whilst maintaining a fearless and inquisitive spirit, is paramount.

Furthermore, we value candidates with a relevant academic background in Marketing or a related field, alongside with prior experience in Marketing/Commercial roles within FMCG companies, preferably in the food sector. You should demonstrate strong business acumen in commercial and market performance, backed by a proven track record of project management. Proficiency in Excel, combined with a deep understanding of shoppers and budget management, is crucial.

Moreover, your experience in managing agency briefs and providing effective feedback, together with your involvement in developing marketing activities, including ATL, social media and PR campaigns, is highly desirable. Holding proficiency in English and in one other Nordic language at a professional level is a must.
